Transformation Tuesday: Custom Wedding Invitations

One of the biggest joys I get from being the Papercrafting Passionista is the custom orders that friends and family have requested.  I'm sure you've noticed I've been a little on hiatus lately, and that's because I had an order for some wedding invitations that took up majority of my free time this month.  I am excited to share my creations with you here, exclusively for my Blog Readers! Here they are: I used a retired Thinlit Die from the So Detailed Thinlits  from last year's Occasions Catalog.  I just knew  I would have a use for that die someday!  Ha!  It was definitely a labor of love, hand-cutting 250 of those gates!  And it also wore on my Big Shot Plates to the point where they snapped in half!  BUT, OMG, so worth it!  And I would do it all over again! Here's what the invitation looks like disassembled: I did all of the graphic design work, too.  So that RSVP Card and the Information Card was all created by m...

Throwback Tuesday: I love our Watercolor Pencils!

Today's Throwback Tuesday post is quite literally a throwback to one of my very most favorite cards I made last year.  I thought it might be fun to dig this out and share with all of you one of my first cards I made with our Watercolor Pencils.  (Actually, thinking back on it, I believe this was the very  first time I used our Watercolor Pencils!) Eeek!  Here it is! Would you look at that bright, colorful pink background!?  Yep, that was the Melon Mambo   Watercolor Pencil  and I used the Aqua Painter  to get the watercolor effect.  I used last year's Love Notes Framelits  (now retired) to make my envelop and hearts.  The "love" sentiment is from the Sunshine Wishes Framelits  (not retired!) and it was so perfect!  I made this card for my husband last year.  While the colors aren't exactly "masculine", he loved it anyway and clearly, took good care of my card---and thankfully so, as I can share it with you to...

Simple Saturday: Sale-A-Bration 2018-Making it Easy!

There are some things that make life super  convenient.  Like refrigerated pie crust or crescent dough sheets.  I mean, seriously!  These two things are great for kitchen short-cuts, am I right!?  Well, there's another thing that is super convenient and meant for the Papercrafting World: pre-printed card bases.  You don't have to do hardly anything  to these little beauties.  Just add one or two things and BOOM!  Your card is done.  Glorious. Did you know that this year's Sale-A-Bration Catalog offers some of the most perfect  pre-printed card bases and  envelopes?  Ahhh!!!  (Cue the light shining down from the Heavens, please!)  It's the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes and you get 16 of these perfect card bases, plus envelopes.  FREE! Here's today's Simple Saturday card featuring these yummy little guys: I literally added one strip of Berry Burst Cardstock , a schmidge of Tutti-Frutti Designer ...

These Party Pandas = Love!

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing, but this is the first time I had a chance to play with the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, Party Pandas.  This set is so  cute and it is the most popular pick of Sale-A-Bration among the Papercrafting Passionista VIP's!  If you haven't seen it yet, check it out here in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. I can easily see why this set is so popular!  The whimsy of these adorable Pandas makes me want to jump up and down with glee!  I also love that black and white makes for a super stunning, simplistic, and clean looking project---even more yay for the Pandas! Take a look at this cute card: It could be used for a Valentine (note that I specifically colored in the heart on the middle panda for a hint of color) or a birthday card.  It could even just be for a whimsical little note card.  These pandas just work for everything!!! Want to know how I made it?  Well, here you are, my Friend!  Read on... Supply List: ...
