Winding Down and Gearing Up!

It's kind of an oxymoron---I'm winding down my Gratitude Month and gearing up for Holiday Gifting!  I've been on a bit of a hiatus this month since I've been posting a gratitude card everyday.  I hope that you all have been enjoying them!  Have you been reaching out to those you love and sharing your gratitude with them alongside me? Now it's time for me to start getting ready for the busiest time---Christmas!  For some of you, you may be celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, or maybe Festivus, but whatever you choose to celebrate, I'd like to wish you the Happiest of Seasons!  I'd also love to help you make this a Crafty Little Christmas and so the month of December will be all about sharing the love of Crafting with others and feeling good about those DIY projects you choose to take on! Here's a look at some of the fun projects I've been working on preparing for the holidays: Hot Chocolate Packets Gift Card Holders Hand Sanitizer H...

Transformation Thursday: Fall to Winter Layout

When you find something that works, you just have to have it in every color for every season, am I right!?  Like your favorite pair of dress slacks for work, the "little black dress" of pumps, the comfiest yoga pants---you get what I mean!  Well, I found one of the best  layout options for quick and easy cards for virtually any occasion!  And the best part is this layout showcases my favorite Designer Series Papers!  I'm sharing it with you today to show you how easy it is to take your favorite layout and transform it (ha! thus, Transformation Thursday!) into a completely different card! Here's a view of a Fall card that was transformed into a Winter card merely by changing up the Designer Series Paper, Sentiment, and Embellishments.  Too. Easy. See how nice this layout is and  since it let's the DSP do the "heavy" work---you just pick a nice sentiment and your card is complete.  You could make a bunch of these for pretty much anything....

November is Gratitude Month

At Stampin' Up!, I am super fortunate that teamwork  and inspiration  are an integral part of the culture.  Both of those concepts are far from foreign in Direct Sales, but with the team I've joined up with, they are palpable and lived  on a day-to-day basis.  I was inspired by one of my Team Leader's, Lisa Pretto , to make and send someone a card of gratitude for every day during the month of November.  That's 30 cards, folks!  I'm a little intimidated by this, especially with Christmas right around the corner (I get the feeling that Christmas seems to kick into high-gear before the Halloween candy is even inspected; and I am certainly no exception to that rule.)  BUT, Lisa's enabling me to take a moment each. and. every. day. to STOP and reflect on the people who bless my life and encourage me to reach out to them and remind them of how much I appreciate them.  Thank you, Lisa. Since it's my life mission to help and inspire others, I ch...
